So now you’ve seen the shades and finishes is this right for you?
Pros –
All really wearable shade options.
Good way of trying different shades without straying too far from your comfort zone.
All shades are intermixable so a wide variety of eye makeups can be achieved.
Cost effective – The sets are priced at £65 each however it would cost at least £150 to buy all the shades individually, plus a further £16.50 for the case and refill so that’s a saving of £101.50!!
Excellent for makeup artists or people who travel and need to keep things streamlined.
Cons –
Some shades need to be used with a mixing medium to get full impact.
Some shades prone to enhancing lines and wrinkles on the lid in more mature ladies
Palette is probably too large for a handbag so not good for ladies on the go however for these ladies I would suggest having these palettes at home then purchasing your favorite 2 or 4 shades separately and keeping them in a separate case in your handbag.
On balance I think these kits are an excellent idea and great value for the amount of product you get them.
If you do purchase these or have them brought for you for Christmas, please let me know what your favorite colours are and how you like to use them, I would love to hear your makeup tips too!
Until next time, stay gorgeous and see you soon,
James xxx
